Transportation Information For Maternity Patients

HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital offers free urgent rides for patients of participating practices to the Maternity Center at UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus, at 119 Belmont Street, Worcester, MA powered by GoGo.

Patients can use this free, on-demand transportation option when your provider or provider’s office has recommended that you go to the Maternity Center at the Medical Center for an urgent, unscheduled visit but you do not have reliable transportation.

Inpatient Maternity Unit Closure

UMass Memorial Health and HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital, like all providers in the Commonwealth, must adjust how we deliver care to our valued patients. Because maternity care is highly specialized, it has been challenging to consistently staff the unit despite our attempts to recruit and retain caregivers in that region. This, along with the declining number of deliveries at the hospital, has impacted the unit's ability to provide labor and delivery care to our patients.

Prostate Cancer Support Group

Worcester Prostate Cancer Education and Support Group provides you, your family and friends with monthly educational seminars on prostate cancer. The group also provides support during and after treatment. Each session includes time for conversation and questions in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
