Worcester, Mass – His 40 years of caring for the mental health of Worcester youth has earned Clinical Psychologist Richard Hummel, MD, a key to the City of Worcester. In a surprise ceremony on Wednesday, October 4 at the Community Healthlink (CHL) offices, Mayor Joe Petty presented Dr. Hummel with his own key.

Worcester, Mass – UMass Memorial Medical Center has a new mobile vehicle on the road to support addiction services in the Worcester homeless community. Made possible through the kindness of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his family, the Kraft Community Care in Reach® mobile unit is equipped and staffed to bring substance use disorder (SUD) and other health care services to those who need them, where they need them.

SOUTHBRIDGE, MA (SEPTEMBER 23, 2020) – The Members of Harrington HealthCare System and the Board of Trustees of UMass Memorial Health Care announced today that both entities have reached agreement on definitive terms for a corporate affiliation.  Harrington HealthCare announced in January 2020 that it was pursuing a corporate affiliation by UMass Memorial.  

Funding from the Healey-Driscoll Administration will support the organization's mental health initiatives for young children
