Curriculum

The UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program is a one-year training program that begins around the first of July and continues through to the end of June the following year.

Orientation to the Hospital and Pharmacy Department occurs at the start of the residency year.  At this time, the program director will develop a rotation schedule tailored to the resident’s needs and interests.  The core rotations of this residency fulfill the requirements for an ASHP accredited program.  For successful completion of the residency program, the resident will be expected to prepare and complete a research project suitable for publication and presentation at the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Meeting and the Eastern States Residency Conference.
