We offer several convenient family medicine offices in Southbridge, Webster, Sturbridge, Brimfield, Spencer, and Charlton for patients to seek care for themselves and their family members.
Our patients range from infants to seniors, and our scope of services ranges from wellness visits to routine sore throats to acute care. In many instances, we can also help manage chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes.
For non-urgent medical attention, your family can visit one of our two UrgentCare Express locations!
Continuum of Care
Family Medicine physicians function as gatekeepers for local families, providing comprehensive outpatient services and coordinating patient care with specialists, as needed.
A great benefit is the accessibility of Harrington’s Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments, often located at the same site as our family medicine offices. If hospitalization is required, your primary care physician (PCP) will connect to your treatment through Harrington’s Hospitalist program.
We have a number of well-educated and patient-centered pediatricians on staff that can offer comprehensive, personalized care for your children as they grow.
We also have an inpatient pediatric unit, which features private and semi-private rooms decorated with children’s artwork.
Families appreciate our clinical excellence, which includes teleradiology with Boston Children’s Hospital, and a nursing staff accredited in Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Other special touches include our extra-comfy BiliBeds for jaundiced babies, kid-friendly DVDs and a playroom with toys designed to engage in growth and motor skills.
Gateway to Referral Services
In addition, our family medicine physicians are a great source of referrals to the many outpatient services and specialists available in our system. From nutrition to mental health counselors, cancer care to even total joint surgery, our PCPs can refer you to other experts on our medical staff to keep your care organized and well managed.
We certainly get to know our patients very well over the years as we strive to keep them healthy.
Throughout the lives of our patients, we put emphasis on preventive health, promoting lifestyle modifications as appropriate. In patients’ later years, our physicians can help often coordinate the transition to assisted living or hospice as needed.
