Harrington HealthCare System congratulates two of its physicians who made the Community Health Care 2016 Top Doctors list, which was published December 21016 as a special supplement in the Telegram and Gazette.

The report was organized by Castle Connolly, which has a physician-led research team that screens the medical educations, training, hospital appointments, disciplinary histories and more for physicians nominated by their peers.

Dr. David Erani, Endocrinology
Dr. Erani is a member of Harrington Physician Services and has an endocrinology and diabetes practice in Sturbridge. He is a board-certified endocrinologist with more than 15 years in clinical practice.
He received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed a fellowship at the Department of Endocrinology, Harvard Medical School/Longwood Medical Area Training Program. He was also a resident at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center—New York.
The former director of medical programs for the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Dr. Erani provided medical leadership and guidance to the network of Joslin-affiliated diabetes centers throughout the United States.
He is also the former chief medical officer for DiabetesAmerica, Inc., a Texas-based medical organization dedicated to helping people manage their diabetes.
Dr. Erani is very engaged in his community and managing patient care for diabetic and endocrine disorders. He is also an advocate each year for the Step Out for Diabetes Walk in Worcester.
Dr. Robert Cherry, Urology
Dr. Cherry has local roots to southern Worcester county and a long reputation of being a devoted, dedicated physician of urology.
He attended the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, and completed residencies at Washington Hospital Center and Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Urology.
He is a Harrington Physician Services medical staff member, practicing general urology at 20 Southbridge Road in Charlton.
Dr. Cherry is a member of the American Urologic Association and the American Society of Clinical Urologists.
