My husband and I arrived in MA from VA for vacation. On the morning of July 12, my husband became ill and he was seen in your ER. The purpose of this message is to inform you of the outstanding patient care he received from each and every staff member he encountered from admission to discharge.
As you can imagine, this was a stressful time for both my husband and myself, especially being so far from home, and we wanted to make sure that everyone’s efforts were recognized. Nurse Sherrie, Dr. Gaudet and Dr. Johnson, all provided excellent care. The radiology and lab personnel were pleasant, as well as the transport volunteers. The pre-op and post-op experience was also excellent. The med/surg unit staff was very
caring and compassionate.
During the first several hours in the ER, the registration representative, at my request, helped to get our out-of-state and out-of-network insurance straight by putting me in touch with the right department. Security officers helped with directions and a dietary aid even walked me directly to my car when I got lost in the hallway. The secretary on the med/surg unit made sure we had copies of my husband’s records to take back to VA upon discharge.
My husband and I have both worked in the healthcare setting for many years and we feel very grateful that we were in such good hands. What a great team you have! Please express our heartfelt thank you to everyone.
