We specialize in advanced wound care, using a variety of clinical treatments, therapies and supportive services to treat chronic wounds. Our physician-driven, multi-disciplinary approach to outpatient wound care has a superior success rate in facilitating the healing process.
The Wound Center at Harrington has received accreditation from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), making it the only hospital in Central/Western MA to have received this designation. This accreditation means our facility has met or exceeded the highest standards of care and patient safety through a rigorous set of evaluations. Achieving this significant milestone demonstrates that the Wound Center at Harrington is committed to providing the highest quality of care to the patients we are privileged to serve.
A patient may benefit from wound care treatment if they have a wound that has not begun to heal in two weeks or is not completely healed in six weeks. In general, you are encouraged to contact a Wound Care Center physician if you notice a wound accompanied by the following symptoms:
