Brian Smith Of Behavioral Health, And Harrington Are Cited For Doing Their Duty

SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. – Brian Smith, Director of Adult Services at Harringtons Behavioral Health Services Department, has received an Employer Support award from the National Guard and Reserve.

Employer Support is a Department of Defense agency that seeks to promote a culture in which all American employers support and value the military service of their employees. Brian arranged the schedule of Becky Howard, a therapist in Harrington Behavioral Health Services, so that she was able to spend more time with her husband when he returned from military service in Africa. Brian was presented the award from Earl Bonett, vice chairman of the Massachusetts National Guard and Reserve.

Harrington HealthCare System supports and values the military service of its employees and the family members of employees. Don Brechner, Vice President of Behavioral Health Services and Brian Smiths supervisor, has signed a statement of support for the Guard and Reserve.
