SOUTHBRIDGE, MA – Harrington Behavioral Health & Recovery and St. John Paul II Parish will host a Community Recovery Awareness Fair on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in St. Mary’s Ministry Center, 279 Hamilton St., Southbridge.
The event is being hosted by Fr. Peter Joyce, Pastor, Harrington’s Director of Recovery Services Christina Beesley, MA, LAHC and Program Director Tracey Weeden, MSW, LICSW.
“The Community Recovery Awareness Fair is open to the general public, individuals in recovery or seeking it, family members or friends who have been affected by substance abuse disorder,” said Weeden. “Many local agencies have banded together for this fair to help tackle the critical need for programs and services that address this community healthcare crisis.”
The following programs and services will be in attendance to offer information, advice and support: Harrington Recovery Services, Harrington HealthCare Emergency Services, Southbridge Police Department Community Assisted Recovery for Everyone (CARE) Program, Southbridge Fire Department and EMS Narcan Training, Southbridge Community Connections, Families Helping Families Support Group, Spectrum Health Systems, Saint John Paul II Parish, Tradewinds Clubhouse, AdCare Hospital, Learn to Cope, In Plain Sight, Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous and numerous additional agencies.
