The second floor of the Cancer Center at Harrington offers infusion/chemotherapy services as well as counseling and an on-site social worker to help patients and their families with the psycho-social issues related to cancer.
Our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, administrators, social workers, and related health care professionals, provides diagnosis and treatment close to home, combining clinical excellence and personalized care.
As a patient, you can expect prompt turnaround of tests, thanks to our on-site Laboratory and advanced Diagnostic Imaging, including CT scans, MRI, and digital mammography. Treatments include the latest chemotherapy in our infusion center, hormonal and targeted therapy, and consultations.
In addition to cancer services, we offer infusion therapy for a variety of non-cancer related illnesses, including blood disorders, congestive heart failure, Crohn’s Disease, hemophilia, immune deficiencies, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. We also coordinate palliative care and hospice, as needed.
Our approach is to involve patients in their care, providing educational, emotional, and psychological support. We accent preventive measures to reduce future risks and promote quality of life for cancer survivors.
