SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. – February 3, 2011 – Harrington Hospital is seeking creative expressions from local artists to brighten our corridor walls. We are aspiring to enhance the Harrington Hospital experience with paintings and photographs and bring the community into the hospital to promote the wealth of artistic talent that resides in the 17 towns in south central Massachusetts and northeastern Connecticut.
Harrington Hospital sees approximately 70,000 visitors each year including patients, families, staff, students, and business leaders. Your art can be prominently displayed for all of these visitors to admire and purchase. You will determine the price of your work and keep 85 percent of the profit while donating 15 percent to the Harrington Hospital Auxiliary for grants and scholarships. As a part of this program, your work of art will help support many of the local programs and causes sponsored by the Harrington Hospital Auxiliary.
