Michael Martel was known throughout his community of Sturbridge, MA for his quiet kindness and pleasant disposition, his humbleness and his fun sense of humor.

I'm happy that I have Dr. Matthew Dalke as my doctor. He is such a caring doctor and he listens to you without rushing you. I never had such an understanding doctor.

When I was told I had breast cancer, I decided to stay close to home. I had the most terrific surgeon Dr. Thomas Johnson. He was so kind and compassionate. He told me what the surgery would entail, and everything well. I am not looking back to what was, but ahead thanks to Dr. Johnson.

“For the first time in three years, I feel no pain,” Margaret says. “Dr. Oh really helped me to feel better. He didn’t make me feel bad about my ongoing pain. And all of the nurses were so kind as well – they even wheeled me from [the orthopedic surgery office] over to the hospital [to receive the injection] and back to my car.”

I'm a patient of Harrington Hospital's Orthopedic Surgery office. Dr. Samantha Chase [orthopedic surgeon] has been such an asset to me. She has the perfect balance of humanity, concern, bedside manner, and she is an amazing doctor.

My son Dominic had a colonoscopy at Harrington Hospital today, and I want to send a special THANK YOU to our nurse, Paula. She was incredibly professional and provided excellent care for my teenage son. I cannot express my gratitude enough for her nursing skills.

Kathy-Jean in outpatient surgery is an amazing nurse, I feel very blessed to have her caring for me each time I have to have a procedure or surgery. Demarius on the third floor outpatient unit was awesome as well - so caring, and can hit your vein in one shot! I would pick both of them to care for me every time I needed medical care if I could!

I went to the ER on 6/12 for severe abdominal pain. I ended up having an appendectomy performed by Dr Rose. He assured me everything would be fine and you could tell how much he cares about his patients. He was so nice and empathetic and put me at ease! Thank you so much Dr Rose!!!

Our 12 year old son was recently in the ER at Harrington Hospital, Southbridge. Unfortunately, he was there for a total of 9 very long days. The entire nursing staff was wonderful with him, but there was one nurse in particular that really made his stay a lot easier! Kamby really took great care of him!

I want to acknowledge and appreciate Dr. Powers, and all the nurses for taking good care of me.

I wish I could paint a clear picture as to the extreme difference between UMass and Harrington Urgent Care! I am completely impressed with Harrington.

It seemed like within 5 seconds, there was a nurse standing next to me checking him out and getting him right in to be taken care of.

I am very grateful for the care and compassion I received at Harrington!
