What is the Power of One?
The Power of One Campaign is ONE organization, ONE person, ONE dollar to bring awareness to some of the most important issues in our community.
Proceeds from the 2018 Power of One campaign will benefit Domestic Violence Prevention Education Efforts - part of Harrington's Wellness Initiatives.
Join the movement to raise awareness and funds so our family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors affected by domestic violence can access programs and resources they so desperately need locally.
Where does the money go?
Proceeds from our 2018 Power of One campaign will focus on Domestic Violence prevention education efforts.
On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men.
How do I get involved?
Our Power of One campaign runs from January 1, 2018 to April 1, 2018. We welcome area businesses to get involved any way they can. Some ideas from last year's campaign included a $1 off a specific product or service, "jeans day" for a contribution to the cause, or a one-time donation. We welcome creativity - whatever works for your business and employees!
Remember the need to support domestic violence is timeless, so support can be made at any time.
