Nominations Open for Harrington Physician of the Year

A tradition that began in 2011, the award offers patients, colleagues and the community a chance to honor and celebrate their physicians for the dedicated care they provide every day.

Nominations will be accepted until October 13. Submissions can be filled out online by visiting the Physician of the Year page.

Nominations will be judged on:
• Reasons why a physician was nominated
• Number of nominations received
• Active medical staff membership (required)

Physicians, employees, volunteers and patients are eligible to submit nominations (one nomination per person). The entire form must be filled out in order to be eligible for submission. The recipient will be announced at a ceremony at the annual Provider Recognition Evening on November 2.

The Physician of the Year recipient will be selected by a committee made up of the Chief Medical Officer, the Medical Staff President, the Chief Executive Officer, and the previous years’ Physician of the Year award winners.

Nominees typically fulfill one or more of the following characteristics:

caring • collegial • quality • safety • leadership • cooperation • integrity • flexible • diversity • available • reliable
