Harrington Recovery Services Receives $2,500 from North Oxford Walmart

SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. – Harrington HealthCare System has received a $2,500 grant from the North Oxford Walmart and Walmart Community Grant Program to benefit recovery services in the community.

“We are very excited to have the support of the North Oxford Walmart, which understands how important it is to provide high quality, accessible recovery services that are close to where our community members live and work,” said Harrington President and CEO Ed Moore.

The grant will help support Harrington Recovery Services, which is a robust initiative to offer comprehensive treatment for mental health and substance use disorders, including addiction therapy, intensive day programs, and inpatient care

The Walmart Community Grant program offers grants ranging from $250 to $2,500, awarded to numerous organizations and charities annually.

In 2014, Walmart and the Walmart Foundation gave $1.4 billion in cash and in-kind contributions around the world.

The Walmart Foundation meets the needs of the under-served by directing charitable giving toward our core areas of focus: Opportunity, Sustainability and Community.
