Harrington Physician Services Welcomes Dr. Robert Maloney to its Spencer Practice

SPENCER, Mass. – July 7, 2016 – Robert Maloney, M.D., a primary care internist with more than 30 years’ experience, will join Harrington Physician Services (HPS) Spencer office at 118 W. Main Street on August 1.

Dr. Maloney has been a private practice internist in Worcester for the past 23 years at the former Chadwick Associations Medical Group on Grove Street, acquired by Reliant Medical Group in 2014.

“We are excited to have Dr. Maloney join our primary care practice in Spencer as we believe he brings a high level of patient-centered care to the community,” said Kristin Morales-Lemieux, chief operating officer for HPS. “He is well respected by his peers and will make a great addition to our office.”

Dr. Maloney will join Drs. Talal Bou-Harb, Ryan Fillipon, and Nicholas Fillipon, as well as Nurse Practitioner Amy Robidoux in the Spencer office, which also has an on-site X-ray suite and several specialty physicians who see patients for consultations and follow-up appointments.

After receiving his medical degree from Catholic University of Louvain, in Louvain, Belgium, Dr. Maloney completed his internships and residencies at the (then) Worcester City Hospital in Worcester, MA. He also spent nine years as an emergency room physician at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA, and four years as an emergency room physician at Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer, MA.

Dr. Maloney is board-certified in internal medicine and a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the American Society of Internal Medicine and the Massachusetts Medical Society.  He is married with three children and lives in Spencer.
