Nursing

“Our nurses truly touch patients in many ways, treating them with compassion and helping them heal through personal contact.”
-Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Office Tom Hijeck, RN

At Harrington, it’s our business to care for your health—and our nursing staff truly embodies our commitment to providing exceptional care to every patient, every day.

Harrington is known for its high-tech, patient-centered approach. In the words of “Our nurses truly touch patients in many ways, treating them with compassion and helping them heal through personal contact.”

Expert Care

We have affiliations with many board-certified specialists from UMass Memorial Health Care, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Boston, 21st Century Oncology, and Healogics, Inc. The relationship between these specialists, our medical staff and our nurses make for unified, compassionate care backed by years of medical experience and training.

Nurses come here because they like the friendly staff, and appreciate the importance of state-of-the-art equipment and information technology that enhance care. Many of our nurses have been here for many years, and they get to know patients and their families as more than numbers. Our longevity of service to the community instills a bond of trust between patients and nurses.

Our nurses and nurse practitioners are highly skilled, and many of them specialize in their respective areas, such as pediatrics and oncology.
